潤生時起，名生煩惱，惑生彼地所起之者，亦名生惑，非今所說，除此餘時，但緣定起，皆名定生。如遍常見，因定後起，名定煩惱。餘准此知。然《疏》說云：如遍常者，乍觀似證生煩惱也，理證定惑。

What arises when moistening rebirth is called a rebirth affliction; the afflictions that arise upon being born into that stage are also called rebirth afflictions, which is not what is meant here. Aside from these times, whatever arises solely by taking concentration as an object is called concentration-born. Like the view of universal permanence that arises after being caused by concentration, it is called a concentration affliction. The rest can be understood by analogy. However, when the Commentary says 'like universal permanence,' at first glance it seems to prove rebirth afflictions, but in principle it proves concentration afflictions.
