答：如《義燈》云，違順差別，種有同別，應釋此疑。又，解初二根本五識，歡悅根動，勇意分二，雜受五，全意迫微；意憂故，不成分二。

Answer: As the Yideng states, regarding the differences of disagreeable and agreeable, their seeds have commonalities and distinctions, which should resolve this doubt. Furthermore, another explanation is: in the first and second fundamental [dhyānas], the five consciousnesses are joyous and gratified, the faculties are stimulated, and the courageous mind divides into two; in mixed feelings, the five [consciousnesses] are completely oppressed and the mind is slight; because the mind has grief, it does not divide into two.
