《攝論》第三云：又入滅定等言，除佛、獨覺、若阿羅漢、若不還果及不退位諸菩薩等，餘不能入。
The third fascicle of the Mahāyānasaṃgraha says: Furthermore, stating that one enters the attainment of extinction and so forth means that except for Buddhas, solitary buddhas (pratyekabuddha), arhats, non-returners (anāgāmin), and non-retrogressing bodhisattvas and so forth, others cannot enter it.
