「末摩」，梵言，此云「死穴」，或云「死節」。《順正理論》第三十云：末摩無別物，身有異支節，觸便致死。

"Marman" is a Sanskrit word; here translated as "mortal spot" or "mortal joint." The Nyāyānusāra, fascicle thirty, states: "A marman is not a distinct thing; the body has distinct joints and sinews which, when touched, immediately cause death."
