答：前已顯五不執為外，故不破之。有義彈云：《疏》說此但顯其正義，不是破他；今解破他者。

Answer: It was already shown earlier that the five do not grasp [objects] as external; hence they are not refuted. Some criticize, saying: The Commentary states that this merely reveals its correct doctrine and is not a refutation of the other; now it is explained as refuting the other.
