答：有經、不經而非一向，故《佛地論》第二云：若有學位迴向菩提，或隨煩惱感生勢力，感彼生已於最後生，伏諸煩惱起定願力，資現身因乃至成佛；或迴心已即伏煩惱起定願力，資現身因乃至成佛。

Answer: There are cases of undergoing and not undergoing births; it is not definitive. Hence the Buddhabhūmy-upadeśa, fascicle two, says: If those in the stage of training (śaikṣa) turn toward bodhi, they either, according to the power of defilements that induce birth, after being induced into that birth, in their final birth subdue all defilements and arouse the power of concentration and aspiration to sustain the cause of their present body, up to the attainment of Buddhahood; or, having turned their minds, they immediately subdue defilements and arouse the power of concentration and aspiration to sustain the cause of their present body, up to the attainment of Buddhahood.
