釋曰：前十一根中除三無漏，三無漏無如此，下釋。此等皆約諸人容有現行而言，不依一切及種子說。凡無無漏，下界種子上身有故，不唯八等。論七根入無色等，如《義燈》釋。

Explanation: From the preceding eleven faculties, the three uncontaminated faculties are excluded; that the three uncontaminated faculties do not have [such presence] is explained below. All these [statements] are spoken in terms of what may possibly be present as active manifestation across various persons, not on the basis of all [persons] nor spoken with respect to seeds. For ordinary beings lack the uncontaminated; and because seeds from the lower realm exist in upper-realm rebirths, they are not only eight, and so forth. The Treatise's [statement on] seven faculties entering the formless realm, and so on, is as explained in the Yideng.
