答：披《瑜伽論》三十八云：「謂於世間種種稼穡，墮諸穀數世資生物，所有種種名想言說。」謂穀麥等，即此望彼種種稼穡為隨說因。又於一切雜染緣起，所有種種名想言說無明行識，廣說乃至憂苦擾惱，即此望彼諸雜染法為隨說因。又於一切清淨品法及滅涅槃，所有種種名想言說，即此望彼諸清淨法為隨說因。

Answer: Opening the thirty-eighth fascicle of the *Yogācārabhūmi*, it says: "Regarding the various crops in the world, worldly life-sustaining things belonging to the category of grains, all their various names, concepts, and speech," namely grain, wheat, and the like—precisely this, in relation to those various crops, is the conventional cause. Further, regarding all defiled dependent origination, all the various names, concepts, and speech of ignorance, formations, consciousness, extensively up to sorrow, lamentation, and vexation—precisely this, in relation to those various defiled dharmas, is the conventional cause. Further, regarding all dharmas belonging to the pure category and cessation/nirvāṇa, all their various names, concepts, and speech—precisely this, in relation to those various pure dharmas, is the conventional cause.
