此牽引因亦有三性。《瑜伽論》云：「由彼各別自種子故，種種稼穡差別而生，即說彼種子為此牽引因。又於現法中無明等法所有已生已長種子，今此種子望於餘生生老死等為牽引因。」

This inducing cause also has three moral natures. The *Yogācārabhūmi* says: "Due to their respective distinct seeds, the various crops arise distinctively; precisely those seeds are called the inducing cause of this. Further, in the present lifetime, all seeds of ignorance and other dharmas that have already arisen and grown—these seeds now, in relation to other births, birth, old age, death, and so forth, are the inducing cause."
