釋曰：種望能證涅槃之智為牽引因，非望涅槃，涅槃非是因所生故，舉所證理顯能證智。

Explanation: The seed, in relation to the wisdom capable of realizing nirvāṇa, is the inducing cause, not in relation to nirvāṇa itself, because nirvāṇa is not produced by causes; it adduces the principle realized to reveal the wisdom that realizes it.
