答：潤者，資助令生長義。據生三有，教說惑潤。若論出世多聞，善友能助名潤，斯亦何違？疏云「等」者，等聞熏習。

Answer: "Moistening" has the meaning of aiding and causing to grow. Based on arising in the three realms of existence, the teachings say afflictions moisten. If discussing the supramundane, extensive learning and virtuous friends can assist, which is called moistening; how does this contradict? When the Commentary says "and so forth," it includes the perfuming of hearing.
