6.353

有三性別。《瑜伽論》云：芽、莖、葉等展轉相續，望彼稼穡，若成若熟；又從無明支乃至有，展轉引發後後相續，望於餘生生老死等。又自種子所生一切菩提分法，漸次能證有、無餘依二涅槃界，如次無記、染、善三性引發因也。

There is a threefold differentiation of natures. The Yogācārabhūmi states: sprout, stem, leaf, and so forth in successive continuation, in relation to the ripening or maturation of the grain crop; furthermore, from the link of ignorance up to existence, successively inducing subsequent continuations, in relation to birth, aging, and death in other lives; furthermore, all the factors conducive to awakening produced from their own seeds, which gradually enable the realization of the two nirvāṇa realms with and without remainder—these are the inducing causes of the three natures: indeterminate, defiled, and wholesome, respectively.
