三性異者，《瑜伽論》云：同為稼穡而得成熟，非彼稼穡隨闕一因而得成就，是故一切和合說為此同事因。又即彼一切從觀待因至定別因名同事因。

Regarding the difference among the three natures, the Yogācārabhūmi states: together they bring about the maturation of the crop; that crop cannot be accomplished if it lacks even a single cause; therefore, all in combination are called this co-functioning cause. Furthermore, all those from the relational cause (apekṣā-hetu) up to the determining cause are called the co-functioning cause.
