如《燈》及《疏》具已明之。有義：斷取西明第四而自問云：可許三分能緣餘三，如何自緣便同小乘大眾等義？

As already fully clarified in the Liaoyi deng and the Commentary. Another opinion determines to adopt Ximing's fourth [view], and asks himself: 'One may allow the three parts to be able to cognize the remaining three; how is taking oneself as object identical to the position of the Hīnayāna Mahāsāṃghika and others?'
