詳曰：由因他名自能熏修，以自他對立以外名，不約根、塵以明內外，何得謬以五識為難？智者應知。

An analysis says: Because of another's name, one can perfume oneself; establishing the name as 'external' is based on the contrast between self and other, not on sense-faculties and dust-objects to clarify internal and external. How could one mistakenly raise an objection using the five consciousnesses? The wise should know this.
