乍觀所引九十三等似證識支，唯取種子不取餘識，理實但證賴耶為支，簡餘轉識，非證種子。

At first glance, citations such as fascicle 93 appear to prove that the link of consciousness takes only seeds and does not take other consciousnesses; but in truth, it merely proves that the ālaya[-vijñāna] constitutes the link, setting aside the remaining evolving consciousnesses, and does not prove that it is exclusively seeds.
