6.508

按彼論云：當知此識於現法中但是因性，餘文《疏》具，釋亦可知。復有釋云：若初受生唯是意識，故就相續有六識身。

According to that treatise: "It should be known that this consciousness is only of causal nature in the present life." The remaining text is fully provided in the Commentary, and its explanation can also be known. There is another explanation stating: "If at initial rebirth it is solely mental consciousness, then on the basis of continuity there is the body of six consciousnesses."
