顯違第十及五十六文言總也。苦胎藏者，即第十文，文如前引。五十六云：現法中識為福、非福及不動業之所熏習，後後種子之所隨逐，能引當來餘身識等生、老死苦。又云：即識、名色、六處、觸、受先種子性，隨所依時曾得眾苦引因之名，今已與果名生、老死，復得名苦。准此等文，明識等五唯取種子。

This shows that it contradicts the texts of fascicles 10 and 56, speaking generally. 'The womb-matrix of suffering' refers to the text of fascicle 10, as cited above. Fascicle 56 states: "Consciousness in the present life, perfumed by meritorious, non-meritorious, and immovable karma, is pursued by subsequent seeds and can project the suffering of birth and aging-and-death of consciousness and so forth in a future other body." It also states: "The previous causal seed nature of consciousness, name-and-form, the six sense bases, contact, and feeling received the name of projecting causes of manifold suffering in accordance with the time of their support; now that they have yielded results, they are named birth and aging-and-death, and again receive the name of suffering." In accordance with these texts, it is clear that the five [links] beginning with consciousness take only seeds.
