答：有二釋。一云：行有現、種，現行名行，種名為識，種因現熏云令顛倒，《對法》亦云「業種為識」。

Answer: There are two explanations. One says: volitional formations have actual manifestations and seeds; the actual manifestation is named 'volitional formation,' and the seed is named 'consciousness'; because the seed is perfumed by the actual manifestation, it is said to be caused to be inverted. The Abhidharmasamuccaya-bhāṣya also says 'karmic seeds constitute consciousness.'
