6.656

按《對法論》第六說云：三苦、八苦展轉相攝，所謂生苦乃至怨憎會苦能顯苦苦，順苦受法苦自相義故；愛別離苦、求不得苦能顯壞苦，已得未得順樂受法壞自相義故；略攝一切五取蘊苦能顯行苦，不解脫二無常所隨不安穩義故。

According to the sixth fascicle of the Abhidharmasamuccaya-bhāṣya: 'The three sufferings and eight sufferings mutually subsume each other: the suffering of birth up to the suffering of encountering the hated can manifest the suffering of suffering, because they conform to the meaning of the intrinsic characteristic of painful feeling; the suffering of separation from the loved and the suffering of not getting what one seeks can manifest the suffering of change, because they conform to the meaning of the intrinsic characteristic of change in obtained or unobtained pleasant feelings; briefly subsuming all suffering of the five grasping aggregates can manifest the suffering of conditioned existence, because they conform to the meaning of being accompanied by insecurity through the two impermanences without liberation.'
