「勝」字疑誤，合為「緣」字。無心用彼，有心為緣而後方起。又語亦略，思之可悉。

The character 'superior' (勝) is suspected to be an error and should be the character 'condition' (緣). The mindless [attainment] employs that [state] with mind as a condition, and only then arises. Furthermore, the phrasing is also abbreviated; it can be understood upon reflection.
