答：一云，理實，但與行俱無明為無間緣，然行俱者業眷屬，故亦名為業，故說與行為無間緣。二云，同聚異體展轉得作無間緣故。若如前解，福、不動行非無明俱，如何成緣？故後說勝。

Answer: One says: in factual reality, it is only the immediate condition for the ignorance that coexists with conditioned formations; however, because that which coexists with conditioned formations is an associate of karma, it is also called karma, and hence it is said to be the immediate condition for conditioned formations. A second says: distinct entities within the same mental association can reciprocally act as immediate conditions. If it were according to the former explanation, meritorious and immovable formations do not coexist with ignorance, so how could they form a condition? Therefore, the latter explanation is superior.
