按彼論云：「復次，迴向菩提聲聞，或於學位即能棄捨求聲聞願，或無學位方能棄捨。由彼根性有差別故，所待眾緣有差別故。」

According to that treatise: "Furthermore, śrāvakas who redirect themselves toward bodhi may abandon the aspiration to be a śrāvaka while in the stage of training (śaikṣa), or they may only be able to abandon it in the stage beyond training (aśaikṣa). This is because their faculties and dispositions differ, and the various conditions they depend upon differ."
