Exposition: Because by means of natureless wisdom one awakens to this principle, one attains the illusion-like samādhi and is able to awaken to all phenomena as being entirely like an illusion and so forth. The mind-made body manifested by a bodhisattva is adorned like a flower with wondrous marks and characteristics, and because it is conditioned and arisen from conditions, it is like a reflection and so forth. Stating that one truly perceives and knows the characteristics of all phenomena also [refers to] the cause that gives rise to this body. As for the third body being called the body born of diverse kinds and so forth, the exposition states: It manifests forms in response to sentient beings, and because the forms are not one, they are termed 'diverse kinds.' It arises simultaneously following receptivity, hence it is termed 'co-arising'; it arises without applied effort, hence it is termed 'action without fabrication.' Action without fabrication and so forth serve as the causes that give rise to the body, and the body is termed 'diverse kinds, co-arising, and so forth.'
