正解如《疏》。有義：二乘故意以無漏定資，何不得？然無大悲大願力，故無漏力弱，故所資身但名分段。不爾，熏禪定唯有漏。

The correct explanation is as in the Commentary. There is an opinion: When those of the two vehicles intentionally sustain it with uncontaminated concentration, why could they not do so? However, lacking the power of great compassion and great vows, the power of their uncontaminated [concentration] is weak, so the sustained body is merely called 'fragmentary' [saṃsāra]. If it were not so, the concentration that perfumes dhyāna would only be contaminated.
