按《顯揚論》第六云：遍計五業者：一、能生依他起自性，由計所執我、法為境，能執之心熏成種子，復生似彼我、法相等。有質、無質，見相同、別，如理可知。二、即於是中起諸言說。

According to the Prakaraṇāryavācā, fascicle six: The five activities of the imagined are: 1. It can give rise to the other-dependent nature: because of taking the imagined self and dharmas as object, the grasping mind perfuses and produces seeds, which further produce semblance-images of self and dharmas. Whether with an external basis or without one, whether the darśana-bhāga and nimitta-bhāga are identical or distinct, can be understood in accordance with reason. 2. It gives rise to diverse verbal expressions therein.
