7.224

釋曰：以所緣中以得究竟，故名為「際」。「際」者，極也。會悟此已，更無過此可緣求法，故名「實際」。餘如《疏》引。

The commentary states: Because it is the culmination among objects, it is therefore named 'limit.' 'Limit' means the ultimate. Having realized and awakened to this, there is no dharma beyond this that can be taken as an object and sought; therefore, it is named the 'reality limit.' The rest is as cited in the Commentary.
