詳曰：《疏》雖不斷，今以理准：前解是本，後亦無違。諸教皆說無漏勝解名為解脫，自未解脫，莫解脫他，言為有情求之何失？

Examination: Although the Commentary does not decide, now judging by principle: the former explanation is the primary one, but the latter is also not contradictory. All teachings state that uncontaminated resolute conviction is called liberation; if one has not yet liberated oneself, one cannot liberate others—so what fault is there in saying that one seeks it for the sake of sentient beings?
