按第八十住品云：此菩薩從一切聖法正教中生，修十種法：所謂信佛不壞、究竟於法、寂然定意、分別眾生、分別佛剎、分別世界、分別諸業、分別果報、分別生死、分別涅槃。

According to the Chapter on the Ten Abodes in the Eighty-[Fascicle Avataṃsaka-sūtra]: This bodhisattva is born from the correct teaching of all noble dharmas and cultivates ten kinds of dharmas: namely, indestructible faith in the Buddha, ultimate attainment in the Dharma, tranquil concentration of mind, discriminating sentient beings, discriminating Buddha-kṣetras, discriminating worlds, discriminating various karmas, discriminating retribution, discriminating saṃsāra, and discriminating nirvāṇa.
