經、論相違，《疏》有四釋：一、《疏》云「彼依伏因」至「及俱生煩惱」；二、「又說佛法功力」等；三、「因自分別」等下是；四、「又但總言」等下是。斷如《燈》辨。

Regarding the contradiction between the sūtra and the treatise, the Commentary has four explanations: First, where the Commentary says "that is based on subduing the cause" up to "and innate afflictions"; second, "also, speaking of the power of the Buddha-dharma" and so on; third, from "because of one's own discrimination" and so on below; fourth, from "also, merely speaking in general terms" and so on below.
