《疏》有兩釋。有義彈初釋云：此論、《對法》皆云類忍於法忍智各別內證，即已總法無間、解脫二自證分。又云類智印可類忍，不說類智別證法智，如何乃言法真見道解脫自證？今作二釋：一云法忍法智別法真見無間、解脫見分緣如，類忍總法無間、解脫自證緣智。然未決定類智重法審決印持，亦同類忍法二自證。二云前三如前，第四既云印可類忍，由是總法無間、解脫證自證分，緣自證分。二道之中自證緣見，四緣第三。今類智忍既法自證，第四緣忍，明法二道證自證分。但說法見及自證者，略不論之，義必應爾。

The Commentary has two explanations. One opinion criticizes the first explanation, saying: Both this Treatise and the Abhidharmasamuccaya-bhāṣya state that subsequent patience individually internally realizes the patience regarding phenomena and the cognition of phenomena, which already collectively emulates the two self-verifying parts of the uninterrupted path and the path of deliverance. Moreover, it says that the subsequent cognition confirms the subsequent patience, not saying that the subsequent cognition separately realizes the cognition of phenomena; how could one say that it emulates the self-verifying part of the path of deliverance in the real path of vision? We now provide two explanations: One says that the patience regarding phenomena and the cognition of phenomena separately emulate the vision-parts of the uninterrupted path and the path of deliverance of the real path of vision taking suchness as object, while the subsequent patience collectively emulates the self-verifying parts of the uninterrupted path and the path of deliverance taking cognition as object. However, not having been determined yet, the subsequent cognition re-emulates it with decisive confirmation and retention, likewise emulating the two self-verifying parts just as the subsequent patience does. The second says: The first three are as before; since the fourth is said to confirm the subsequent patience, it thereby collectively emulates the verification-of-the-self-verifying parts of the uninterrupted path and path of deliverance, taking the self-verifying part as its object. Within the two paths, the self-verifying part takes the vision-part as object, and the fourth takes the third as object. Now, since subsequent-cognition-patience emulates the self-verifying part, the fourth, taking patience as object, clearly emulates the verification-of-the-self-verifying parts of the two paths. Speaking only of emulating the vision-part and self-verifying part is merely an omission of discussion; in principle, it must be so.
