詳曰：忍及精進必有三業，二行方成，故取三業亦何爽理？諸論多分說彼自性通三業故。

Detailed analysis says: Patience and vigor necessarily involve the three types of karma for the two practices to be accomplished; therefore, what violation of reason is there in taking the three types of karma? For the various treatises mostly state that their intrinsic nature extends through the three types of karma.
