答：大意是同，廣、略異耳。明經中意與前師同，唯敘《因明》有別前也。然《疏》中云「彼《因明論》」至「與此不同」者，並依《佛地》敘《因明論》二相之義。結與經別，經別之義同於初師，更不言也。故《佛地論》敘《因明》已，而總結云「此經不爾，故不相違。」

In clarifying the intent of the sūtras, it is identical with the former master; only in narrating Hetuvidyā is there a difference from the former. However, when the Commentary says "that Hetuvidyā-śāstra... is different from this," it is entirely based on the Buddhabhūmy-upadeśa narrating the meaning of the two characteristics in the Hetuvidyā-śāstra. Concluding that it differs from the sūtras, the meaning of its difference from the sūtras is identical with that of the first master, so it is not stated again. Therefore, after narrating Hetuvidyā, the Buddhabhūmy-upadeśa concludes generally: "This sūtra is not like that, so there is no contradiction."
