釋曰：於三寶所離疑惑心，知佛所說道能出離，外道非道，不能出離。又謂我應斷下、中行，而為發起上妙聖行，如次是彼六、七、八相。

The explanation says: Departing from a mind of doubt toward the Three Jewels, knowing that the path taught by the Buddha can lead to emancipation, while the non-path of the non-Buddhists cannot lead to emancipation. Furthermore, thinking that I should sever the lower and middling practices and initiate the superior noble practices: these are, respectively, the sixth, seventh, and eighth marks.
