解云：無住涅槃由菩薩證，非彼已得。如修習位說得轉依，非已得故。二云許得，分斷所知所顯真如，悲、智依故。有義斷云：今依前解，說出煩惱得有餘依，要全出離，說出所知得無住處，明非因得。

The explanation says: Non-abiding nirvāṇa is realized through bodhisattvas, but they have not already attained it, just as on the stage of cultivation they are said to attain the transformation of the basis, but have not yet already attained it. The second says they are granted to attain it, because the suchness revealed by the partial severance of the cognitive [hindrance] is the basis of compassion and wisdom. A certain master resolves this by saying: We now follow the former explanation; saying that by emerging from affliction one attains [nirvāṇa with] residue requires complete emergence, and saying that by emerging from the cognitive [hindrance] one attains the non-abiding state clarifies that it is not attained in the causal stage.
