A certain master says: The Treatise says: What is permanently relied upon is the cognitive object; because the object is permanent, wisdom is metaphorically designated as permanent. Hence the Nirvāṇa-sūtra says: That which all Buddhas take as their teacher is what is called the Dharma; because the Dharma is permanent, all Buddhas are also permanent. The phrase "without interruption or exhaustion" comprehensively explains the meaning of the four wisdoms being permanent. Being continuous without interval, it is called "without interruption"; having no posterior limit, it is called "without exhaustion." It does not need to be separately matched to the three bodies.
