答：以難陀師二分依他結文，順彼不言自證及證自證，少同護法，隱已從他，云「初師結」。前顯自義，云「四結正」，故不相違。或「初」字誤，應為「後」字，顯此結文非安惠故。既通二義，應從多本。

Answer: Because Master Nanda's concluding text on the two parts of the dependently arisen accords with his view of not mentioning self-awareness and awareness of self-awareness, it slightly agrees with Dharmapāla; concealing his own view to follow the other, it says "conclusion of the first master." Earlier, when demonstrating his own doctrine, it said "the fourth establishes the correct view," so they do not contradict each other. Alternatively, the character "first" (初) is an error for "latter" (後), showing that this concluding text is not Sthiramati's. Since both interpretations are possible, one should follow the majority of editions.
