If one does not take the separate mūla-dharmin of nature and function to establish the nature of the teaching, the anāsrava teaching would inversely incur the fault of becoming sāsrava and so forth, in accordance with the listener. The unconditioned of the Three Jewels would also incur the fault of becoming conditioned, sāsrava, and so forth, in accordance with the mind that cognizes it.
