述曰：上來別約四事，難四不成。自下第二，於一事中，總為四難，亦結前文，此即牒大乘無境許識起。

The Commentary says: The above separately took the four points to object to the four failures of establishment. From here below is the second part: within a single passage, he formulates the four objections together, and also concludes the preceding text. This quotes the Mahāyāna position that consciousness is granted to arise without objects.
