述曰：自下此文正申難意，四義如前。總立量云：定處、時等皆不應成；說無外色等許此識生故；如餘處、時等。此中量意，應准上知。

The Commentary says: From here below, this text properly sets forth the intent of the objection; the four meanings are as before. Formulating the inference collectively: Determined place, time, and so forth should all fail to be established; because, while asserting the absence of external forms and so forth, you grant that this consciousness arises; just like other places, times, and so forth. The intention of the inference here should be understood by analogy with the above.
