述曰：由惡業故，所見水等，皆謂糞尿及餘血等。《攝論》等云：「鬼、傍生、人、天，各隨其所應，等事心異故，許義非真實」，即此意也。

Commentary: Due to evil karma, the water and so forth that they see is all regarded as excrement, urine, and other blood and so forth. The *Mahāyānasaṃgraha* and other texts say: "Ghosts, animals, humans, and devas, each in accordance with what is appropriate, have different minds regarding the same matter; therefore it is accepted that the object is not real"—this is precisely the meaning.
