述曰：此第三義。其獄卒等與受罪者，俱是彼攝，形量、大小及與氣力，一一既齊等，其罪受者，應不極怖此獄卒等。量云：彼受罪者應不極怖此獄卒等；那落迦攝故；如獄卒等。返破量云：其獄卒等亦應有恐怖非自類彼趣；許那落迦攝故；如受罪者。此中宗法，簡無同喻過，所立不成等，應如是知。

The Commentary says: This is the third point. Those wardens and the like and the sufferers of retribution are both subsumed under that [destiny]; since their shapes and sizes, great and small, and their bodily strength are each completely equal, those sufferers of retribution should not be extremely terrified of these wardens and the like. The inference runs: "Those sufferers of retribution should not be extremely terrified of these wardens and the like; because they are subsumed under the narakas; like the wardens and the like." The counter-refuting inference runs: "Those wardens and the like should also have terror toward those of that destiny who are not of their own kind; because they are accepted to be subsumed under the narakas; like the sufferers of retribution." Here, regarding the property of the subject (pakṣadharmatā), qualifying it to avoid the fallacy of lacking a similar example, the unproved predicate (sādhyavikala), and so forth, should be known in this way.
