述曰：自下理逼，前三句頌，牒彼外宗。第四句頌，正申義理。汝宗既許業招大種起如是形量，有作用轉變，何不許此在識非餘？「如是」者，形、顯、量、力等也；「轉變」者，動手、足等作用也。合此二種，名能所造。

The Commentary says: Below is logical coercion. The first three lines of the verse repeat the opponent's doctrine. The fourth line directly sets forth the correct principle. Since your school admits that karma induces great elements to give rise to such shapes and sizes with functional transformations, why do you not accept that this resides in consciousness and nowhere else? 'Such' refers to shape, color, size, power, and so forth. 'Transformations' refers to functions such as moving hands and feet. Combining these two kinds is called the producer and what is produced.
