述曰：下論主難。若一若多，二俱有過。其多過者，如前已說，非多極微等。以下三頌，是一亦非理，非直多成失。設一復為過，故言「亦非理」。

Commentary: Below is the author's objection: "Whether one or many, both have faults. The fault of being many is as already stated before, such as not being many paramāṇus. In the three verses below, being one is also illogical; it is not merely that being many constitutes an error—even if it were one, it would again be a fault; therefore it is said 'is also illogical.'"
