述曰：次釋下三句頌。先破正量部等，此解第二句頌，「若於爾時起此現覺：我今現證如是心外色等實境」者，此牒彼計。

The commentary says: Next, the lower three lines of the verse are explained. First, the Saṃmatīya and others are refuted. This explains the second line of the verse: 'If at that time one gives rise to this direct awareness: I am now directly experiencing such real objects as form external to the mind'—this restates their position.
