述曰：由猫鬼等意念勢力，令他著魅變異事成。既彼親能令他作此，但由意念增上緣故，此事便成。殺羊等亦爾，雖無外身、語，殺事亦成。

Commentary: By the power of the mental intention of cat-demons and the like, the abnormal occurrence of another's possession is brought about. Since they directly cause another to do this solely through the adhipati-pratyaya of mental intention, this event is thereby accomplished. The slaughter of sheep and the like is also like this: although there are no external physical or vocal [actions], the act of killing is still accomplished.
