述曰：此論主答，釋頌末句「不知」二字。此一頌翻釋由菩薩等無始已來，法執所蔽，有此無知覆其心境，令知自心，亦不如實。故他心智，由法執力，如知自心，亦不如實。

The Commentary states: This is the treatise master's reply, explaining the two characters 'does not know' at the end of the verse. This verse in translation explains that because bodhisattvas and others have been obscured by grasping at dharmas from beginningless time, there is this unknowing that covers their mind and its objects, causing their knowledge of their own minds also not to be as it truly is. Therefore, the knowledge of others' minds, through the power of grasping at dharmas, is just like the knowledge of one's own mind in not being as it truly is.
