如世尊言，原為佛說，乃論主推尊法有所自。一切法等者，總標百法及二無我以為宗旨，乃一論之綱領也。若究所宗，總一代聖教淺深為次，分而為八：

"As the World-Honoured One said" was originally spoken by the Buddha; it is the treatise master's revering of the Dharma as having an origin. "All dharmas," and so forth, summarizes the hundred dharmas and the two kinds of selflessness as the essential doctrine, serving as the guiding principle of the entire treatise.
