解云：「何故第三明其色法？謂此色法不能別起，依心及所數之所變生，是彼二法所現影故，是故第三明其色法。」
The commentary states: "Why are rūpa-dharmas explained third? These rūpa-dharmas cannot arise separately; they are transformed and produced in dependence on the mind and mental factors, being reflections manifested by those two dharmas. Therefore rūpa-dharmas are explained third."
