問曰：「若不緣者，猶如陰夜遠望樹林，唯見長等，不見青黃，云何眼識不緣其假？」

Question: "If they are not cognized, then like gazing at a forest from afar on a dark night, where one only sees long and short, but does not see blue or yellow, how could the eye-consciousness not cognize the nominal?"
